12 | M R EP O RT MCROWD LENDERS JOHN BOSLEY Planet Home Lending LLC has named John Bosley as President of Mortgage Lending, to lead the company's Origination, Fulfillment, Correspondent, and Capital Markets Divisions. Bosley joined Planet Home Lending in 2012, and was promoted to VP, Capital Markets. He was pro- moted to EVP, Capital Markets and Correspondent Lending in 2018. "John is widely regarded in the in- dustry for his ability to maximize value across the full mortgage transaction, including securitization. He delivers market-best pricing for our consum- er-direct originators and has built processes and uncovered efficiencies to support volume growth for all of our origination channels," said Michael Dubeck, CEO and President of Planet Financial Group LLC, parent company of Planet Home Lending. "I believe in bringing people together, hearing their concerns, and finding a plan forward," Bosley said. "To deliver exceptional customer experience to borrowers and clients, and best-in-class support for sales, Planet must balance the needs of borrowers, correspondent sellers, agencies, capital markets investors, mortgage servicing rights holders, and agencies." Bosley has two decades of indus- try experience, and before joining Planet Home Lending, worked for a national retail lender. He has a Master of Science in finance, a Bachelor of Science in business information, and is a certified public accountant. "John and I have collaborated successfully for nearly a decade. I'm confident he is the right person to lead and elevate Planet's Mortgage Lending division," said Sandra Jarish, Planet Home Lending President, Servicing. "My division is scaled for anticipated growth. I know John will quickly bring in the home loan volume and mortgage servicing rights to take advantage of that capacity." MICHAEL FONTAINE MICHELLE RICHARDSON Plaza Home Mortgage has named Michael Fontaine as the company's new Co-President (he will also continue as COO), and Michelle Richardson as the new SVP, CFO. "The new leader- ship roles reflect Plaza's strong growth and evolution," said Kevin Parra, Plaza Home Mortgage Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman, who will now share the role of President with Fontaine. "I'm especially pleased to recognize the impressive achievements of Mike Fontaine and look forward to his con- tinued contributions." Fontaine, who has been with Plaza for 17 years, had previously held the role of CFO. He is a member of the Freddie Mac Advisory Committee, the California Mortgage Bankers Association's Board of Directors, and holds the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). A CPA, Fontaine holds a Bachelor's Degree in management science from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master's of Science Degree in accountancy from San Diego State University. Richardson has been with Plaza for two years, having joined the company as SVP of Treasury and Finance. Previously, she serves as VP of the Treasury for loanDe- pot, Senior Accounting Analyst at Icon Residential, and Product Administration Business Analyst/Lead of Bulk Purchasing & Data Integrity at IMPAC Mortgage. LAURA C. LARAIA HENRY SANTOS Sprout Mortgage has named Laura C. LaRaia to the role of EVP, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer, overseeing all legal and regulatory compliance functions, and serve as the firm's General Counsel. "We are thrilled and excited that Laura is joining us," said Shea Pallante, President of Sprout Mortgage. "We believe Laura's addition shows we are attracting some of the top talent nationwide, which will better allow us to serve our clients." LaRaia brings more than two de- cades of in-house and law firm mort- gage banking industry experience to Sprout. Prior to Sprout, she served as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation. Previously, she was Chief Compliance Officer/Deputy General Counsel at Supreme Lending. Sprout has also announced the ad- dition of Henry Santos as EVP and CIO. Prior to joining Sprout, Santos served as Global Director of Housing Finance and Real Estate Services at Infosys. He also spent time as Head of Housing Finance and Lending Solutions at IBM and has worked in roles at Fidelity National Information Systems, Capco, and Accenture. Michael Strauss, CEO of Sprout Mortgage, said, "Sprout is fortunate to have a person with Henry's skill, proven track record, and history of innovation among its leaders." In his new role, Santos will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and performance of the Sprout enter- prise technology ecosystem. He will focus on bringing modern technology to Sprout to reduce the rising cost of origination and distribution, leverag- ing data and advanced computer engineering solutions. "I look forward to working with the entire Sprout team to extend our commitment to innovation and high- quality client experience by investing in technology that allows our brand to attain sustainable, competitive market advantages," Santos said. Santos has a Bachelor of Arts de- gree from Columbia University and a Master's in Human Development from Harvard University. JASON WILL Embrace Home Loans has named Jason Will to the newly created role of SVP of Market Growth, where he will be responsible for helping to increase the company's market share, expanding its affiliate partnerships, and establishing a team of regionally based VPs of market growth.
