DANIEL SHEEHY Angel Oak Home Loans has added Daniel Sheehy as a Senior Correspondent Account Manager to help lead the expansion of the firm's correspondent lending business in agency and non-qualified mortgage markets. Sheehy has spent 24 years in the correspondent lending channel and brings a total of 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry to Angel Oak's correspon- dent channel. In his new role, Sheehy will be responsible for creating new partner- ships with lenders across the United States to gain access to purchase both qualified and non-qualified mortgage loans. In addition, Sheehy will work closely with Angel Oak's executive team to ensure client ex- pectations are met, strategic expan- sion goals are achieved, and business operations are run efficiently amid a volatile market climate. Sheehy's extensive leadership experience in similar correspondent sales positions has prepared him to help execute Angel Oak's growth plans. Prior to beginning his position at Angel Oak, Sheehy worked as a Correspondent Sales Manager at Homepoint Financial Corporation and an Account Manager at Chase Home Lending. "I'm very proud to join Angel Oak's correspondent sales team, as their fast-paced culture and dedication to superior customer service truly differ- entiate their firm in the marketplace," Sheehy said. "There is plenty of room for growth in the correspondent lend- ing channel, and I plan to help Angel Oak capitalize on that by leading with tenacity. Angel Oak's expansion into correspondent lending will not only allow us to attentively support new partners, but also provide a wide variety of agency and non-qualified mortgage options to those who need them." NICOLE MUNNERLYN National mortgage lender Waterstone Mortgage Corporation has opened a new office in Greenwood, South Carolina, to be led by Sales Manager Nicole Munnerlyn. Munnerlyn and her team will serve homebuyers and homeowners in Greenwood, Greenville, McCormick, Anderson, and their surrounding communities. "We want our clients to have a 'boutique' experience when working with us," Munnerlyn said. "We work outside of traditional hours to give our customers the support they need—and we focus on developing an authentic connection with each one. We find that when people are com- fortable with you and they trust you, they enjoy the mortgage part of the homebuying process much more." Munnerlyn's team currently con- sists of Loan Partner Nicole Robinson and Processor Lindsey Esarey. "We are excited to welcome Nicole and her team to Waterstone Mortgage," said Mike Smalley, Waterstone Mortgage VP–Eastern Division Sales. "Her strong connec- tions in Greenwood, Greenville, and the nearby communities—as well as her passion for helping homebuy- ers achieve their goals—will set her team up for success. Nicole is truly dedicated to her clients, and it shows in the way her customers trust and rely on her for all their home financ- ing needs." CHANCE MCQUEEN Chance McQueen has joined Mortgage Network Inc.'s East Berlin, Connecticut, office as a Loan Officer. McQueen is currently licensed to assist borrowers in Connecticut, Florida, and New York. "While there are a few areas where prices are dropping to more realistic levels, the overall inventory of homes is still low and properties sell quickly once hitting the market," McQueen said. My best advice to borrowers is to get pre-approved for financing now before you look at any homes. That way, you'll know exactly where you stand and will be able to make a strong offer once you find the right home." Prior to joining Mortgage Network, McQueen worked as a Mortgage Consultant with First Alliance Home Mortgage. His previous industry ex- perience includes roles as a Mortgage Loan Originator with Mortgage Unlimited, a Loan Consultant with Cross Country Mortgage, and a Loan Consultant and Mortgage Loan Officer with Caliber Home Loans. McQueen is also a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). "Joining Mortgage Network is a perfect fit for me," McQueen said. "Customer service is very impor- tant in our business, and Mortgage Network has an incredible reputa- tion in this area, including strong customer ratings and reviews. Buying a home is one of the most important decisions in a person's life and not something that should be taken lightly. I look forward to help- ing homebuyers, as well as existing homeowners, reach all their home financing goals." GREG GRIFFIN Nations Lending has hired industry veteran Greg Griffin as VP, Central Regional Manager, in charge of existing branches across the Central United States, while also focusing on the company's growth plans in the region. The news comes following the company's expansion of several branches in Green Bay and Monona, Wisconsin, and Crystal Lake, Illinois. "Greg brings 32 years of invaluable experience to our team," said Corey Caster, EVP of National Production at Nations Lending. "We're investing in him by putting the right personnel around him and properly growing our Central U.S. presence. We're thrilled to welcome him." Griffin comes to Nations Lending from Guaranteed Rate, where he served as SVP of Strategic Growth, where he managed a team respon- sible for nearly $500 million in annual loan volume. Prior to that, he spent more than eight years at New American Funding. "Nations is a great fit for what I want in a workplace. The culture and size make me feel like my actions lead to a direct impact," Griffin said. "Working here is fantastic because I feel like I'm more than just a number in an office. I'm ready to grow our team and get to work." "We're excited to welcome Donovan and his team and work with them throughout the onboarding process and beyond." A 27-year industry veteran, Stamps is a proven performer in the mortgage banking sector with combined lending and servicing management experience and a consistent record for exceed- ing established business objectives in a highly competitive environment. Throughout his career, Stamps has held several leadership roles where he positioned companies for growth through optimal results in productivity and operational excellence. Broadening home- ownership opportunities and serving our customers well is what we're all about." MCROWD
