OF EMPLOYEES 65 RES.NET is an off-the-shelf SaaS platform providing institutional subscribers a suite of portals in a single ecosystem for asset management and loss mitigation alternatives to foreclosure, supporting short sale and deed-in-lieu solutions to borrowers, featuring advanced and customizable workflows and robust reporting functionality. RES.NET was named a 2022 Innovation award winner for the enhancements and robust report- ing tools offered within the REO Portal. WHAT QUALITIES MAKE YOU A "MOST VALUABLE COMPANY" WITHIN THE INDUSTRY? RES.NET sets high standards in employee engage- ment, customer service, growth, and profitability, and we believe that for our company to be leaders within the industry, we must be successful leaders within the organization. The core principles of our organi- zation and in each of the leaders begin with servant leadership emphasizing integrity, customer focus, a purposeful vision, engaged service focus leadership, risk-taking, teamwork, high-performance standards with highly engaged employees, and positive commu- nication, to name a few. As a software company and tech provider our- selves, we know first-hand the importance tech plays in keeping ahead in today's digital environment. For that reason, we are highly selective on the tech with which we interact, whether it be our developed code or tools and integrations we leverage from our part- ners. More importantly, we seek out the processes our customers employ and find methods to provide efficiencies—specifically around the use of tech—to improve their bottom line. WHAT WERE THE MOST DIFFICULT HEADWINDS YOU FACED OVER THE PAST YEAR, AND HOW DID YOU WORK TO OVERCOME THEM? While moratoriums and market forces caused the reduction in volume and resources, RES.NET contin- ued to focus on supporting clients in preparation for policy changes. Rather than scaling back, we spent this time investing hours and financial capital into our systems to meet clients' ever-changing and evolving needs, focusing on creating products and services they ask for and need. Industrywide, the emphasis on open communication and information-sharing is abundant in today's climate, which is a positive change for our industry. We chose to be deliberate about open communication, relation- ship building, and enabling all stakeholders to partici- pate in decision-making to ensure ongoing success. HOW DOES RES.NET NURTURE AND RECRUIT NEW TALENT? The temperature has changed, and it's important to adapt. Relationship-building begins at the first touch- point with a candidate and helps build confidence with the candidate and the hiring managers. Having a reasonable understanding that the candidate is in- terviewing the company, their hiring manager, and the company culture in addition to the position permits an open environment for honest dialogue. WHY SHOULD INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS CONSIDER A CAREER WORKING WITH YOUR COMPANY? While some organizations are tempted to knee-jerk into workforce reduction, particularly with inflation hitting a 40-year high, it can be more damaging to an operation in the long run. RES.NET believes, now more than ever, that protecting and building our most valuable asset, our talent, future-proofs our business. It takes longevity to stand out in a crowded indus- try where every organization claims to have the best service, technology, or product offerings. Having the endurance and experience to withstand the cyclical nature of this industry differentiates RES.NET as a trusted industry leader. The wisdom of past experi- ences is essential to incorporate into our operations, but RES.NET resists a rigid mindset that all things be unchanged. With evolving technology and changing regulations, we are in a time where flexibility and adaptability are indispensable qualities. Being a part of our organization provides a ripe environment for a wide range of experiences across the industry. Because our system evolves with the insight and input of our users, and the industry talent we recruit into the company bridges their experience with our users' needs and has proven to be invaluable. WHAT OTHER ASPECTS OF YOUR COMPANY WOULD YOU LIKE TO SPOTLIGHT? RES.NET has navigated amidst uncertainty in today's environment because, in its 20-year history, it has successfully supported several significant down cycles. Maintaining a lasting vision is the glue to its organization and paramount to its mission of providing sustainable solutions to its clients and superior service. RES.NET invests in and develops scalable tools within each platform to increase efficiencies and improve accuracy and productivity. Integrating enter- prise features, including tasking, messaging, report- ing, and document sharing with flexible customization and robust reporting enables RES.NET to provide the tools needed to support diverse industry needs.
