The company was born out of a need for an independent source of automated valuation models (AVMs) and over the years has expanded into a full suite of collateral evaluation automation tools. Collateral Expert, the company's first technology, was launched in 2004 and was followed by OptiVal in 2006. Appraisal Ordering System (AOS), a system that helps lenders stay compliant while ordering appraisals and managing their own appraisal panels.
