Th e M Rep o RT | 13 MCrowd EgbErt L.J. PErry The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced the appointment of Egbert L.J. Perry as chair of Fannie Mae's board of directors. In addition to serving as one of Fannie Mae's directors, Perry is chairman and CEO of the Integral Group LLC, which he founded in 1993 as a company specializing in real estate development, advisory, and investment management services across major U.S. markets. Commenting on his appointment, Perry said he looks forward to continuing his work "to deliver on the company's essential role in the housing market." Curt bEardsLEy Following the hiring of former Move executive Errol Samuelson, Zillow announced the addition of Curt Beardsley, another former Move alum. Formerly EVP of industry development for Move, Beardsley now serves in a similar position at Zillow, working to build and strengthen the company's relationships with multiple listing services (MLS) and other industry partners as VP of industry development. "Curt has extensive experience in the real estate sector with a great combination of skills and leadership, and we're excited to welcome him to Zillow," said CEO Spencer Rascoff. JordEn brok Leading Mortgage Master's newest Illinois retail branch is Jorden Brok, who was named branch manager for the mortgage bank's fifth Midwest office. With more than 17 years of experience in the industry, Brok joins Mortgage Master with more than $1.1 billion in loan closings under his belt. Commenting on the new branch opening, Brok said it represents "a fantastic opportunity not only for me, but for the Midwest region." a. CharLEs thomas A. Charles Thomas has been appointed to oversee data strategy at Wells Fargo as chief data officer, the bank announced. Thomas joins Wells Fargo from USAA, where he was chief data and analytics officer. Prior to that, he oversaw USAA's research and analytics team, the market strategy team, and the enterprise data warehouse functions. In a release, Wells Fargo said the new appointment "underscores [the] company's commitment to data and analytics." karEn bausman Caliber Home Loans, Inc., a residential mortgage origination and servicing company with headquarters in Texas, announced the hiring of Karen Bausman as managing sales director of correspondent lending for the Eastern region. Bausman brings more than 30 years of experience in mortgages and financial services and has held numerous senior management roles throughout her career. Prior to joining Caliber, she was president at GMH Mortgage. brEtt Lotsoff Along with Brok, Mortgage Master also named 21-year veteran Brett Lotsoff as branch manager for its newest office. Throughout his career, Lotsoff has been a top originator, clocking in nearly $1 billion in closed loans. Like Brok, he also comes from 1st Advantage Mortgage, where he worked as SVP and branch manager at Northfield. Previously, he worked as SVP and branch manager for Guaranteed Rate Inc. sCott k. stuCky DocuTech announced that COO Scott K. Stucky has expanded his role within the company and will now serve as chief strategy officer. Stucky previously served as EVP of DocuTech, managing the company's sales, sales team, and marketing initiatives. In his new role, Stucky will oversee client relations, partnerships, product management, and the overall strategic direction of the company. He will also lead initiatives for strategy and business development as well as implement internal and external communication efforts. PatriCk kELLy Informative Research announced the addition of Patrick Kelly, who joins the company as VP of business development. Kelly brings to the position 40 years of experience in the mortgage industry, having worked most recently at CoreLogic Credco. At IR, he will put his mortgage industry knowledge to work by providing services and solutions to the entire central region of the United States. Patti moorE In Maryland, Long & Foster Real Estate appointed Patti Moore as manager of the firm's Salisbury office. Moore brings to her position more than a decade of real estate and business experience, having led her own brokerage for years before merging it with a local real estate franchise. According to a company release, Moore's passion for real estate "lies in training new agents and helping sales associates to develop and grow their own businesses." david norris loanDepot, LLC, one of the nation's largest privately held independent retail mortgage lenders, announced David Norris has joined the company as president and COO. Formerly chief marketing officer for Nationstar Mortgage and president of its Greenlight Financial Services brand, Norris has more than 25 years of consumer mortgage and technology industry experience. In his new position, he is tasked with leading and strengthening loanDepot's daily operations across all channels in addition to assuming executive oversight for the company's relationships with affinity partners. CoLLEEn knaPP Also joining Informative Research is Colleen Knapp, who the company appointed as director. Knapp formerly worked at CoreLogic Credco and brings to IR more than 22 years of industry experience, particularly in the area of credit reporting and fraud detection tools. She will oversee business development for the Southeast region. gEorgE Lazos Avon, Connecticut's Norcom Mortgage announced the addition of new mortgage consultant George Lazos to the company's growing retail team. Lazos joined the mortgage industry in 2005 and has worked since then at a number of companies, most recently serving in a similar role at New England Alliance Mortgage. In a statement, Lazos said he has "an incredible confidence that everybody [at Norcom] is doing their part to ensure the loan transaction runs as smooth as possible for the borrower."
