Th e M Rep o RT | 9 MCrowd Frank nothaFt After more than a quarter of a century working for Freddie Mac, Frank Nothaft has moved on to serve as SVP and chief economist at CoreLogic. Nothaft started at Freddie Mac in 1986, joining the GSE from his former position as an economist with the Federal Reserve. He was appointed to deputy chief economist for Freddie in 1988 and named chief economist in December 2001. As chief economist for CoreLogic, Nothaft will lead the company's economics team, as well as its research and insights strategy. James hall In Maryland, Aspen Grove Solutions announced the appointment of James Hall to the position of SVP of sales and business development. Hall came to Aspen Grove from CoreLogic, where he served as VP of sales and business development, focusing on national background data. Before that, he was deputy program director for KeyPoint, tasked with building a Web-based platform and delivery systems for the Army National Guard. Clint reinhardt Valuation Partners also announced the promotion of Clint Reinhardt to SVP of national sales and marketing manager. Reinhardt has more than 25 years of business development experience in correspondent, retail, settlement services, and sales management in the mortgage industry. He is now responsible for leading Valuation Partners' sales team nationwide. darien evans imortgage, a national lending company and division of loanDepot LLC, appointed a new EVP of operations, choosing Darien Evans for the role. Evans has been with imortgage since April 2013, when she joined as general counsel and chief compliance officer, advising executive and senior management on legal issues and handling risk assessment. In her newly created role, Evans will provide leadership guidance and oversight imortgage's processing, credit and risk, and underwriting and closing functions. rob behrend Auction.com, has announced the addition of Rob Behrend as SVP of its single-family residential division. Behrend has held many senior level positions during his more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage banking sector at firms such as Homeward Residential, Red Bell Real Estate, Saxon Mortgage, Goldman Sachs, and GMAC ResCap. He has significant operational knowledge in all aspects of single-family asset dispositions. robert Gans In addition to the two promotions, Valuation Partners welcomed Robert Gans to the team as VP and national account executive. Coming to Valuation Partners from Sierra Pacific Mortgage, Gans will be responsible for selling real estate valuation services to mortgage bankers, banks, and credit unions in the Midwest and North Central parts of the United States. His 20-plus year career in the mortgage industry includes experience in wholesale and correspondent sales, new account development, and account management. andrew Pettola Houston-based mortgage banking firm Envoy Mortgage has recruited Andrew Pettola to serve as regional VP for the Northeast, according to an announcement. At Envoy, he'll be directly responsible for managing and developing product for the company's growing retail branch network throughout New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. hauke sChuPP In addition, Auction. com also named Hauke Schupp as SVP of operational excellence. Schupp has more than 20 years of technology management and engineering expertise across many industries. He has held many senior management positions that focused on business process effectiveness and optimization at such firms as Ocwen Financial, State Street Bank in Boston, Systems Evolution, Management Engineers, and Bose Corporation. andrew lion LenderLive Network, a national mortgage services provider headquartered in Colorado, introduced one of its newest regional account executives for its Correspondent Lending division: Andrew Lion. Lion, whose territory will include Northern California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska, brings more than 10 years of experience as a mortgage professional working in retail, wholesale, and correspondent lending platforms. Most recently, he was an account executive for Amerisave Institutional Lending. william shuey Opus Capital Markets Consultants, LLC (Opus CMC), added to its due diligence expertise with the appointment of longtime mortgage veteran William Shuey as director of securitization. Shuey has worked in the mortgage industry for more than 30 years, servicing prominent Wall Street firms and banking institutions in the areas of due diligence and the secondary market. Prior to joining Opus CMC, he was due diligence manager at Accenture. He has also held management positions at Goldman Sachs and was VP at Hudson Advisors. mark lyons Mark Lyons has moved up to the new role of SVP of corporate sales development at Valuation Partners. Lyons has been with Valuation Partners since 2009 and has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage banking and settlement services industry. In his new position, he will be responsible for heading up the company's strategic planning initiatives, maintaining key national account relationships, and leading product development. wendy lovett Also new to LenderLive is Wendy Lovett, who will represent the company in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah as regional account executive. Lovett has more than 15 years of mortgage industry experience and joins the company from Stonegate Mortgage, where she assisted in developing correspondent and emerging banking and business channels as sales director.
