RYAN PETERSON Westcor Land Title Insurance Company appointed Ryan Peterson as the company's new EVP. In his new role, Peterson will provide senior leadership to Westcor's newest division, Investor Services. In addition, he will guide the launch of a new and innovative division of Westcor, which will represent the first of its kind in the title insurance industry. Prior to joining Westcor, Peterson was the Co-founder, President, and CEO of Avenue 365 Lender Services, where he created a national origination services division. Before Avenue 365, Peterson was the Co-founder and ultimately CEO of SmarterTitle.com. SHAMYO CHATTERJEE Ellie Mae hired Shamyo "Sham" Chatterjee as VP of Information Technology. In this role, Chatterjee will be responsible for providing the technology vision and leadership for developing and implementing internal business and information systems to support the company's growing business. Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Chatterjee served as the CIO of CallidusCloud for over 12 years, where he held varying responsibilities over corporate IT, SaaS operations, security and compliance, and facilities organizations worldwide. GERI BREWSTER HomeUnion appointed Geri Brewster as Chief Compliance and Risk Officer, where she will oversee legal, risk, and compliance functions. In addition, she is also responsible for human resources, business development and HomeUnion Lending, Inc., the new mortgage brokerage subsidiary of HomeUnion. Brewster has more than 30 years' leadership experience in government, legal, corporate, and private equity environments. Most recently, Brewster was COO at Fleetgistics, where she spent the bulk of her career in various C-Level positions with Toyota Financial Services including General Counsel and Group VP, Toyota Financial Savings Bank. Before joining Toyota she spent several years as a real estate finance attorney in private practice. JIM WEIR imortgage appointed Jim Weir as VP of Regional Production for the imortgage South Central region. Weir has served as one of the top branch managers with imortgage for the last three of his five years with the company. With 17 years' experience in the industry focused on production, he has been involved in all facets of the industry from operations to secondary marketing. He has worked with both large public and regional banks, as well as owned a multistate mortgage company. In this new role, Weir will focus on supporting current branches and driving ongoing growth in the Texas markets and expand the imortgage presence to adjacent states. SELMA HEPP Pacific Union International announced Selma Hepp in the position of VP of Business Intelligence, a position created for her as part of the company's larger efforts to use data to understand client demographics and empirical market dynamics on a hyperlocal base. Prior to Pacific, Hepp was the Chief Economist at Trulia, where she grew adept at using social media to disseminate relevant market information and receive input from consumers. Before Trulia, Hepp was a Senior Economist at the California Association of Realtors and an Economist at the National Association of Realtors. MARTIN WARREN Martin Warren has been promoted to SVP of Wholesale and Correspondent Lending at Nations Direct Mortgage, where he will lead the sales and fulfillment teams for the wholesale and correspondent channels at the Irvine, California-based company. Warren has been a partner at Nations Direct Mortgage for more than eight years. DEBORA AYDELOTTE Altavera Mortgage Services added Debora Aydelotte to the company's executive team as the COO. Aydelotte brings more than 25 years' experience in business line development, risk management, and operational expansion and improvement to Altavera. Altavera's exclusively U.S.-based mortgage operations staff provides a full suite of services including loan set-up, processing, underwriting, closing, funding, and quality control for all product types, including nonQM, jumbo, and conventional. MARY BANE imortgage, a top national nonbank lender and division of loanDepot, today announced the appointment of Mary Bane as VP, Regional Production for the Midwest region. Bane comes to imortgage after serving six years as Divisional President at Prospect Mortgage. She will be responsible for creating the new Midwest region for imortgage, focusing on government and renovation business. "Step out of your box for a while and be curious.
