The consumer experience, origination costs, and compliance would be significantly improved with less email and more use of advanced collaboration." —Jason Nadeau, EVP at Factom MORRIS MORGAN Morris Morgan has been named Senior Deputy Comptroller for Large Bank Supervision at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Morgan will serve on the OCC's Executive Committee and the Committee on Bank Supervision and will oversee more than 700 individuals who are responsible for supervising the nation's large banks, as well as federal branches and agencies. Additional responsibilities will include directing the OCC's International Banking Supervision group and its London Office. In Morgan's more than 30-year career, he has held such roles as the OCC's Examiner in Charge of Bank of America and PNC and Deputy Comptroller for Large Bank Supervision. JAMES WEHMANN The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has announced the appointment of James Wehmann to its Consumer Advisory Board. Wehmann, an executive at FICO Scores who leads the division of FICO Scores that creates credit scoring solutions through advanced consumer data and analytics, will advise on credit reporting, credit scores, and new practices in consumer financial products and services. MARK MILLER Mark Miller has joined Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) as Senior Managing Director of Business Development and Sales. Miller's previous business development experience includes Citi, Bank of America, and most recently Blackrock. During his 20-year tenure with Salomon Brothers/Citigroup, Miller was a Managing Director responsible for institutional distribution of Fixed Income Credit Products. Following his tenure with Citigroup, Miller was Managing Director at Bank of America responsible for global distribution of all fixed income and equity market products. His most recent position was at Blackrock, Inc., where he was Managing Director in the iShares division responsible for institutional distribution of fixed income ETFs. JOHN KULKA John Kulka joins Schmidt Mortgage Company in Cleveland, Ohio, as Manager of New Business Development, bringing with him extensive experience in cross-selling mortgage products. Previously, Kulka spent 14 years at SIRVA Mortgage, a mortgage lender in Ohio. There he served as Business Development Manager and worked to increase the company's yearly volume from $250 million to more than $1 billion. MAHESH PAOLINI- SUBRAMANYA Mahesh Paolini- Subramanya joins Fatcom, Inc., a Blockchain as a Service company that provides products offering document and data integrity, as its EVP of R&D. Paolini-Subramanya comes to Fatcom from Cielo24, a media intelligence company, where he served as EVP. He has also held positions as VP of R&D and head of Cloud-teams at Ubiquiti Networks, a networking tech- nology provider. He also founded Aptela, which became one of the largest cloud-based unified communication services in the nation. Aptela was later acquired by Vonage. LAURIE PYLE Fatcom also hired Laurie Pyle, who will lead the creation of a suite of mortgage technology products. Pyle has extensive experience in the mortgage technology field, including helping create the nation's largest mortgage electronic network. Previously, she served as managing director at Corsair Associates. She has also served as EVP and CIO of Stewart Lender Services, where she headed the technology and operations teams. She was also a founding executive at RealEC Technologies, where she oversaw product strategy, product design, and client solutions.
