TH E M R EP O RT | 5 MTECH the product is highly configu- rable and constantly improving, provides a cutting-edge mobile experience, has a highly robust and reliable cloud and web-based backend, is API friendly, and is significantly helpful to our field subcontractors," said Purdy COO Mitch Davidson. "We also based our decision on the fact that the FotoNotes people are fantastic to work with regarding both devel- opment and an ongoing service relationship." FotoNotes was selected because of its reputation in the industry, best-in-class Android and iOS mobile apps, comprehensive back- office work flow management features, and full integration with Yardi's HUD P260 system. "We're thrilled to be work- ing with Purdy Enterprise," said Kamal Shah, FotoNotes' CEO and Founder. "They are established leaders in property services and true innovators in the use of lead- ing technology tools to operate their business more effectively." Portfolio Underwriter Now Available through Calyx Software POINT AND POINTCENTRAL CLIENTS WILL NOW BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE AUTOMATED UNDERWRITING SYSTEM SEAMLESSLY. C alyx Software, a pro- vider of comprehensive mortgage software solu- tions for banks, credit unions, mortgage bankers, and brokers, announced that Portfolio Under- writer, an automated underwrit- ing system (AUS) from LoanS- corecard, is now available to Point and PointCentral clients. "Manually underwriting portfolio loans not only exposes lenders to Fair Lending issues but is also time-consuming and costly," said Ben Wu, Executive Director at LoanScorecard. "By incorporating automated technol - ogy like Portfolio Underwriter, portfolio lenders using Point and PointCentral can improve efficien- cy by streamlining decisioning for their unique programs and focus on more complex transactions." Portfolio Underwriter allows portfolio lenders to custom- ize credit decision-making and safely originate nonagency loans that they intend to put on their balance sheets. It captures a port- folio lender's program guidelines within its engine and delivers a rules-based underwriting decision in seconds. Results of the deci- sion are documented in a findings report. This report includes program-specific, conditional underwriting criteria utilized in the data analysis. Portfolio Underwriter seam - lessly integrates with Calyx Point and PointCentral loan origina- tion systems. The connection facilitates bidirectional data flow and provides a single system of record for all loan documentation. Centralization of processes and documents streamlines prepara - tion for audits, board reviews, and regulatory submissions. "The predominant focus of Fair Lending violations is how and why loans were approved; therefore, it is critical to have an AUS in place to demonstrate the standard practice of quality underwriting," said Bob Dougherty, VP of Business Development at Calyx Software. "While lenders are certainly familiar with agency AUS, they are also aware of gaps in automated decisioning for their portfolio products. Portfolio Underwriter helps lenders who originate portfolio loans automatically determine the appropriate response for their institution—ensuring compliance with Fair Lending at the point of sale and in the underwriting process." IDS Announces New Document Preview Feature THE TOOL WILL ALLOW LENDERS TO CATCH AND CORRECT ERRORS BEFORE CREATING THE FINAL DOCUMENT. I nternational Document Ser- vices, Inc. (IDS), a mortgage document preparation ven- dor, announced it has incorpo- rated a new document preview feature into its integration with LendingQB's cloud-based loan origination solution (LOS). The feature allows LendingQB users to preview mortgage documents, such as the Loan Estimate or Closing Disclosure, before they are submitted to fulfillment, enabling lenders to spot and correct errors before the creation of the final document. "When it comes to executing compliant, error-free mortgage transactions, the stakes are higher than ever," said Mark Mackey, VP of IDS. "Quite often, lenders are drawing fresh sets of documents each time a change is made because they have no other re - course for ensuring that changes are reflected accurately in the final document. The document preview feature with LendingQB enables our mutual customers to see how changes will affect the final document in real time, elim - inating the need to draw multiple docs or doc packages and reduc- ing the probability of an outdated or incorrect document making it to the final document package." Users are able to preview docu - ments from the idsDoc system directly within the LendingQB "When it comes to executing compliant, error-free mortgage transactions, the stakes are higher than ever." —Mark Mackey, VP, IDS
