It's this varied experience that make her a "superior leader," DelMonte said. "The knowledge gained from management in multiple disciplines enables Patty to recognize the compliance solution needs of clients, customers, and vendors." Though her knowledge is extensive, Cooper is committed to furthering it still— she is constantly working to stay abreast of the latest changes and trends in the industry. She's also dedicated to teaching and mentoring fellow Assurant employees—particularly young women. "Patty helps them to grow into industry leaders and build a plan for future development," DelMonte said. "Patty's knowledge and patience inspires both peers and direct reports to strive for excellence." Previously, Daniel held several leadership positions in ServiceLink client relations, where she was responsible for ensuring client expectations were met. According to Moore, there are many things that stand out about Daniel, including "her relentless pursuit of operational excellence," "her inspired leadership," "her innovative approach to technology," and her "drive to improve process efficiency." An example? Daniel spearheaded the development of integration for Title with Salesforce, a solution that is used by most auction companies on the market today. She is also actively engaged in ServiceLink's recruiting efforts, working to identify and foster women for future leadership roles. One of DeSilva's most distinguishable attributes is the external, behind-the- scenes work she does on behalf of those she mentors. This has been especially true with female colleagues, as she gives freedom to female professionals to move and grow on their own, while encouraging them to draw from her vast experience, knowledge, and expertise. "I was in Liz's office a few months ago. She agreed to see me last minute. Her candor, her demeanor, the honesty and fairness of that conversation made me realize truly how good of a person she was.
