In this role, Beach is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive suite of compliance management programs, which encompass all facets of risk, compliance, audits, exams, vendor risk governance, and information security. She is also dedicated to maintaining compliance with the ever-changing landscape of data privacy and artificial intelligence laws.
Callahan, as EVP & CIO at LoanCare, has more than 30 years of experience leading major digital transformation, technology due diligence, and delivering powerful B2C and B2B solutions. Callahan provides strategic leadership to ensure operational services to the business are being supported in a timely, impactful, and cost-effective manner. Previously, Callahan served as SVP of Mortgage Servicing Technology at Mr. Cooper. He was responsible for the modernization and digital transformation of technology including mobile and cloud services. Results increased operational efficiency, enhanced cyber security, data management, and analytics.

In his role with Xome, Curl leads initiatives to create and source transformative technology solutions. He is a seasoned executive with experience leading customer-focused digital transformation, technology innovation, new product development, and market introduction. Prior to joining Xome, Curl served as VP of Enterprise and Emerging Technology at T-Mobile, where he led cross-functional teams of product managers and engineers to deliver market-shaping technology products, including T-Mobile’s consumer home internet. Before his time at T-Mobile, he worked at Deloitte Consulting in technology strategy and architecture service.
Thompson has been pushing the servicing industry forward for more than a decade through high-risk regulatory solution management, operations, innovation, and human-first strategies. She started out in litigation, advisory, and consulting centered around consumer financial protection law. Then, she was Flagstar Bank’s SVP, Default Servicing Operations, for a better part of a decade. In this role, she led a best-in-class team that focused on delivering transparency in the default mortgage servicing process. Through her leadership with the bank’s mortgage-specific fintech accelerator program, Thompson learned the value of having strong partnerships with the fintech community. In 2021, she launched Consigliera, a forward-thinking organization that builds bridges between financial institutions and the fintech community to deliver meaningful, connected, and efficient solutions in the servicing realm.
The Genie Unbottled: Implementing AI Solutions in Servicing
“The Genie Unbottled” session will be a spirited discussion of the transformative potential of AI within mortgage servicing. From underwriting and risk assessment to customer service and operational efficiency, a panel of experts will explore real-world applications and ethical considerations as they break down how the landscape is already being impacted by this technology—and where it’s headed in the years to come.

The MTech Forum will also include a Keynote Presentation from Leah Price, Senior Financial Technology and Innovation Specialist with the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA). As Senior Financial Technology and Innovation Specialist with the FHFA, Price focuses on the frontier of emerging technologies and benefits and risks for the mortgage industry. Prior to joining the FHFA, Price was VP of Lending Ecosystem at Figure Technologies, and before that, she was at Fannie Mae in product development. She has a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from New York University. Price is a frequent speaker on innovation, blockchain, and AI at mortgage industry conferences.
