Carrington's Flexible Advantage home loan product helps consumers with lower credit scores, high debt-to-income ratios, who are self-employed or need help documenting their income, or who have had a recent credit event—such as foreclosure, bankruptcy, short sale, missed credit card payments or late mortgage payments—and may not be eligible for conventional or government loan products. Benefits include waiver of processing and/or underwriting fees (up to $999, depending on property state) and 0.25 percent off of rate at the time the rate is locked (e.g., 4.25 percent rate is reduced to 4.00 percent) once a Carrington Associate qualifies for a CMS home-loan program. Spouses and domestic partners are eligible. Other options include $1,000 off closing costs for qualified family members. And eligible Carrington Associates receive a $500 referral bonus for each referred family member or friend whose loan funds. Carrington offers tuition reimbursement from accredited colleges or universities. Regular full-time associates are eligible for reimbursement up to $5,250 per year, and regular part-time associates are eligible for reimbursement up to $3,000 per year.
