In her new role, Jenkins will work to strengthen and further develop Homespire Mortgage's "Inspired to Impact" social responsibility program. This initiative is focused on creating meaningful change in the communi- ties the company serves by helping to eradicate homelessness and to increase homeownership for veterans through charitable contributions, phil- anthropic partnerships and employee volunteerism. MUNISH KUMAR CHINTAN MEHTA Wells Fargo & Company announced two new leaders joining the Technology organiza- tion. Chintan Mehta was named CIO and Head of Digital Technology & Innovation, and Munish Kumar was named CIO and Head of Wealth & Investment Management Technology. Both will have a joint reporting relationship to Saul Van Beurden, Head of Technology, and the relevant line of business leaders. Mehta's ap- pointment is effective immediately, and Kumar will join the company in August. As CIOs, Mehta and Kumar will have responsibility for all technol- ogy underlying the company's Corporate Strategy, Digital Platform & Innovation, and Wealth & Investment Management businesses. They will work with business leaders to deliver the tools and maintain the platforms needed to serve Wells Fargo custom- ers while contributing to the com- pany's technology transformation. "Chintan and Munish bring exten- sive technology and business knowl- edge, making them both uniquely positioned for these roles," said Van Beurden. "In addition, their demon- strated leadership will be an impor- tant addition to the organization's ongoing technology transformation. I am pleased to welcome Chintan and Munish to the Technology leadership team." Most recently, Mehta was CIO of Wells Fargo's digital ecosystem, a position he held since 2017. In this role, he was responsible for leading the delivery of all digital experiences and capabilities for Wells Fargo busi- nesses and its 70 million customers. Previously, he was Global CTO at Walgreens from 2015 to 2017, where he was responsible for product man- agement, design, engineering, and operations across retail, pharmacy, and health care businesses. He also held technology leadership positions with increasing levels of responsibil- ity at American Express and Barclays Bank PLC in London. Mehta has an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. Kumar brings more than 20 years' experience and joins Wells Fargo from JPMorgan Chase, where he was Managing Director of Digital Sales, Marketing and Personalization, and Analytics Technology, a position he held since 2015. In this role, he oversaw a team of 400 technologists responsible for creating personalized experiences for customers through technology. From 2008 to 2014, Kumar held a technology leadership role in the company's asset and wealth manage- ment business where he developed and managed the retail and institu- tional trading platforms, including Institutional Allocation Platform and Chase Online Trading. Previously, he held technology leadership roles at Bear Stearns and Citigroup. Kumar has a Bachelor of Technology and Computer Science from Punjabi University in India. MICHAEL QUERREY Guild Mortgage hired Michael Querrey as VP, Strategic Retail Growth for its Mountain West Division. Querrey, who has close to 30 years' experience in the mortgage industry, will support the company's retail growth initiatives and lead recruiting for branches in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. He will be based in Las Vegas and report to Andy Stewart, VP and Divisional Sales Manager for Guild's California, Hawaii, Southwest, and Desert Mountain regions. "Mike's extensive experience lead- ing and growing sales teams will be a great asset to Guild," Stewart said. "He will help lead our strategic expan- sion into new markets in the Mountain West Division and his selection for this position will free up our branch managers to focus on production, closing loans and better serving our customers. We're pleased to have Mike on our team." Prior to joining Guild, Querrey served as EVP of production for ClosingMark Home Loans. He previously served for six years as national sales manager and head of retail production at Castle & Cooke Mortgage. He started his career with North American Mortgage in 1992 and worked as a producer for several years before assuming sales leader- ship roles with Castle & Cooke. KELLEY TILLINGHAST Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc., a wholesale and correspondent mortgage lender, announced that Kelley Tillinghast has joined the company as SVP, Chief Underwriter. In this role, Tillinghast will oversee all underwriting in Plaza's three chan- nels (Wholesale, Correspondent, and Reverse) and play a key role in set- ting company underwriting policies and standards. She will report to Ed VanDuren, EVP of Operations. With more than 20 years' experi- ence in the industry, Tillinghast joins Plaza from Guild Mortgage where she was the VP and National Underwriting Manager for the past five years. Earlier, she held senior-level positions in underwriting, operations, and risk management with PennyMac, JP Morgan Chase Bank, GE Mortgage Insurance, and Bank United. "We are excited that Kelley is joining our management team," said Michael Fontaine, COO and CFO at Plaza Home Mortgage. "She is a sea- soned professional with deep and di- verse experience in underwriting and risk management. We look forward to the significant contributions she will make to Plaza's ongoing success." Tillinghast has a B.S. in Business Administration from Rhode Island College. She also has a Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Salesperson.
