MeridianLink Acquires TazWorks MERIDIANLINK SAYS THE TRANSACTION WILL STREAMLINE ITS CREDIT REPORTING PROCESS. M eridianLink, a Costa Mesa, California- headquartered provider of cloud-based software solu- tions for financial institutions, has signed a definitive agree- ment to acquire certain assets of TazWorks, a technology platform for consumer reporting agencies (CRAs) and the creator of TazWorks Software and the TazCloud background screening platform. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. MeridianLink is the creator and developer of Mortgage Credit Link (MCL), a browser-based API solution that provides a fulfill- ment hub for consumer data veri- fication and analytics. MCL also provides a complete, easy-to-use front-end for CRAs to automate and securely manage order fulfill- ment from any device. "It is exciting to bring two leading technology innovators together to help organizations streamline their screening and credit reporting processes," said Nicolaas Vlok, CEO of MeridianLink.
