EXPOSURE The 2015 Five Star Conference and Expo September 16-18 | Hilton Anatole | Dallas, Texas The largest event in mortgage servicing, the Five Star Conference and Expo, converged in Dallas for three days of networking, education, and high-level industry discussion in September. The 2015 Five Star featured seven educational labs, focused on topics such as single-family rental, foreclosure, investment strategies, compliance, property management, REO, and servicing. When attendees weren't in educational sessions they enjoyed speeches and performances by national figures such as former FDIC chairman Sheila Bair, Tony Romo, and Wynonna Judd. The Five Star also facilitated the presentation of mortgage-free homes to wounded veterans at Military Heroes Keys for Life. The diversity of events—from all attendee events like Military Heroes Keys for Life and the Women in Housing Leadership Forum as well as Five Star membership events like the FORCE Rally and Legal League 100 Servicer Summit—meant that at- tendees from all segments of the industry found their niche. 1.
