10 | TH E M R EP O RT MCROWD WILLIAM C. DUDLEY The Federal Reserve Bank of New York reap- pointed William C. Dudley as President. Dudley became the 10th President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on January 27, 2009, and was appointed to his first full-term in 2011. Previously, Dudley served as EVP of the Markets Group at the New York Fed, where he also managed the System Open Market Account for the FOMC. Prior to joining the Bank in 2007, Dudley was a Partner and Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and Company and was the firm's Chief U.S. Economist for a decade. MICHAEL STRINE Michael Strine was reappointed First VP of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Strine took this role in July of 2015. Prior to that, Strine was EVP and head of the Bank's Corporate Group. Before joining the New York Fed in 2013, he served as EVP and COO at the University of Virginia. Prior to his tenure at University of Virginia, he served as VP, CFO, and Treasurer for Johns Hopkins University. MEREDITH FUCHS Former top Acting Deputy Director at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Meredith Fuchs has joined Capital One, where she will serve as the bank's SVP and Chief Counsel on regulatory issues. Fuchs first served as the Principal Deputy General Counsel of the Bureau. She then took on the role of Chief of Staff, serving for a time under Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts). When Fuchs succeeded the CFPB's former Deputy Director—Steven Antonakes, who left last year to join Eastern Bank—she continued to serve in the role of general counsel. PHYLLIS R. CALDWELL Ocwen announced that current independent director Phyllis R. Caldwell will replace Barry N. Wish as Chair of the company's board of directors. Caldwell joined Ocwen's Board of Directors in January 2015, and has provided significant insight and guidance on the strategic and operational direction of the company. A finance and economic development advisor, Caldwell previously served as Chief of the Homeownership Preservation Office at the U.S. Department of the Treasury where she was responsible for oversight of the U.S. housing market stabilization, economic recovery, and foreclosure prevention initiatives established through the Troubled Asset Relief Program. CAROL J. GALANTE Carol J. Galante has been appointed Independent Director at Ocwen. Galante, former FHA Commissioner and currently the I. Donald Terner Distinguished Professor in Affordable Housing and Urban Policy at UC Berkeley, will join Jacques J. Busquet, former Chief Risk Officer and Managing Director of Natixis North America, LLC, as the company's newest independent directors. CARRIE PRESTON Stonegate Mortgage Corp., appointed Carrie Preston, current Chief Accounting Officer, as its new CFO. Preston is a CPA and joined Stonegate Mortgage in October 2014 as Chief Accounting Officer, where she was responsible for leading the accounting and Securities and Exchange Commission reporting teams, as well as managing technical accounting research and key aspects of compliance. Prior to this, she consulted for Stonegate Mortgage for Sarbanes-Oxley and financial reporting, and served as CFO for Union Mortgage Group, Inc., and SVP and Controller of Saxon Capital, Inc. JOHN PANTALONE Stonegate Mortgage also named John Pantalone as SVP, Eastern Division Manager-TPO. In this role, he will lead and support Who's moving on and who's moving up in the industry This month some of the industry's largest companies saw significant additions to their corporate lineup.
