WATCH THIS YOUTUBE.COM/USER/ GOPFINANCIALSERVICES The future of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has been a hotly debated topic as of late, and last month's Committee on Financial Services Hearing titled "The 2016 Semi-Annual Reports of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection" only fanned the flames of speculation. As the title of the hearing implies, its focus was two semiannual reports released by the CFPB last year, and it featured testimony by CFPB Director Richard Cordray and questions from the committee.
