GOV/DATA-RESEARCH/ MORTGAGE- PERFORMANCE TRENDS The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) recently launched new data sets on mortgage delinquency. The trends covered include mortgages 30-89 days delin - quent as well as mortgages 90 or more days delinquent. The data files are aggregated by state, metro and non-metro areas, and county and are based on a nationally representative 5 percent sample of closed-end, first-lien, 1-4 family residential mortgages. With so much data to delve into, the CFPB breakdown makes it easy to tell the latest foreclosure trends at a glance, as well as look back and notice month-over-month patterns.
