A ssurant, Inc. recently an- nounced the release of a series of new products and product enhancements from its Mortgage Solutions Division designed to address some of the challenges surrounding the rapidly evolving mortgage valuations and title sectors. This includes new valu- ations, mortgage technology, and title products and enhancements. Partnering with top industry originators, Assurant has de- veloped the Assurant Hybrid Appraisal, enabling customiz- able hybrid desktop appraisals with an interior inspection to replace traditional appraisals for lower-risk properties. This alternative appraisal is coupled with a proprietary property risk and complexity screening tool that identifies low-risk properties and utilizes trained inspectors, significantly reducing valuation turn times without compromising quality or compliance. Assurant has also made enhancements to its Title and Mortgage Technology product lines in an effort to create a better user experience, while streamlin- ing the overall appraisal manage- ment process—called Assurant LenderX. In addition, American Title, Inc (ATI), an Assurant Company, has introduced eSign - ing to better the borrower's experience and reduce time and paperwork for everyone involved. G enworth Mortgage Insur- ance, an operating segment of Genworth Financial, Inc., recently announced the launch of a new website that al- lows loan officers, underwriters, processors, and other lending pro- fessionals to visually track every part of the mortgage insurance (MI) application process through close. The site re-enforces the firm's continued focus on techno- logical infrastructure innovation, according to Genworth Mortgage. "We live in an increas- ingly visual and digital world and Genworth Mortgage Insurance prides itself on being at the forefront of innovation in the mortgage space," said John Clifford, SVP Commercial Operations, Genworth Mortgage Insurance. "Our new website is designed to make a tradition- ally complex process very visual and easy to navigate, which will streamline communications and ensure a smooth, user-friendly experience for our customers." Other initiatives this year in- clude a number of enhancements to its web and mobile integration partnerships to further streamline the origination process, and the launch of GENie, a cutting-edge, highly automated enterprise underwriting platform designed to streamline its operations and enhance underwriter productivity. Tavant Technologies supported Genworth Mortgage Insurance for both GENie and the new website.
