WEB AT WORK VantageScore Offered Webinar on Credit Risk Realities and Opportunities The company hosted a webinar on consumer credit trends and offered clues to what's on the horizon. T he company behind the VantageScore credit scoring model announced a webinar covering the current credit environment and new predictive models developed post-recession in May. VantageScore Solutions hosted the webinar, which featured Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics, and Sarah Davies, SVP of analytics, product management, and research for VantageScore Solutions. Viewing was free for registered participants. According to a release, Zandi offered a presentation about changed consumer credit behavior post-recession and indicators delivering hints about where the economy is headed. Davies had her own presentation about leveraging post-recession consumer data with new modeling techniques in the just-released VantageScore 3.0 credit score model. In addition, the webinar offered insights about the risk profiles of the typically "unscoreable" population. The webinar happened on May 22.
