CLAUDIA REICH FLOYD. Launching a new location in Zurich, Switzerland, Timbercreek Asset Management has ap- pointed Claudia Reich Floyd as the company's Swiss-based leader. Prior to joining the Canadian company, Floyd worked in a real estate-related capacity for Citigroup, and she joins two additional hires by Timbercreek: Sam Sahn and Corrado Russo, both of whom also spent time with Citi. WENDY FORSYTHE. Joining Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate, LLC, Wendy Forsythe will assume the newly created role of EVP and head of global operations. In her new position, Forsythe will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the brand, and she will also focus on developing and refining business processes, recruiting, and training in ad- dition to handling the company's online presence. Prior to her appointment with Atlantic & Pacific, Forsythe worked for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Royal LePage Real Estate, and Realty World. STEPHEN W. LILLY. Community financial institution Severn Savings Bank has named a new CFO. The Maryland-based bank recently promoted Stephen W. Lilly to the leadership role. Prior to his appointment as CFO, Lilly performed as Severn's SVP. Lilly joined the bank in November of last year. Lilly is well prepared for his new role with Severn, having previously served as CFO for Bay-Vanguard Federal Savings Bank in Baltimore, Maryland. RYAN MELIKER. Launching a new real estate investment trust (REIT) team, MLV & Co. has appointed Ryan Meliker as the company's senior REIT analyst. In his new position for MLV, Meliker will spearhead the develop- ment of the company's REIT research team. Meliker joins MLV from his pre- vious role as Morgan Stanley's head analyst for lodging REIT, and while with Morgan Stanley, Meliker worked on teams covering all REIT property classes. GREG GWIZDZ. Announcing Greg Gwizdz as one of the company's centralized sales force leaders, Wells Fargo continues to enhance its non-agency mortgage lending division. Gwizdz will take responsibility for the company's centralized sales force, along with a team of divisional managers. Wells Fargo's newly promoted portfolio lend- ing business manager, Brad Blackwell, said of the personnel changes, "The market has changed, and we are adapt- ing with it to add more horsepower to help homeowners and homebuyers succeed financially." WILLIAM M. O'CONNOR. Thompson & Knight LLP has hired William M. O'Connor as a new partner for the firm's real estate capital markets division. Along with another new hire for the company, Evelyn H. Seeler, O'Connor will be responsible for handling clients within the real estate and capital markets unit, as well as restructuring and bankruptcy matters. Most recently, O'Connor was the chairman of the financial services practice for Crowell & Moring LLP. PHIL HUFF. A new CEO has been named at Platinum Data Solutions, with the announcement that industry veteran Phil Huff will join the company in the leadership posi- tion. Huff's appointment follows the retirement of the company's founder, Rocky Donathan, who was previously Platinum's CEO. Boasting more than two decades of executive experi- ence in the mortgage marketplace, Huff was most recently the CEO of Brandwatch Technologies. MOLLY REED DAVIS. Gateway Mortgage Group has appointed a new chief credit and compliance officer. The privately held mort- gage company recently named industry veteran Molly Reed Davis to the leadership position. In her role for Gateway, Davis will be respon- sible for overseeing all compliance policies and procedures in addition to managing the company's credit relationships. Davis previously served as the assistant VP of third-party origi- nation credit administration for MetLife Home Loans. SAM SAHN. Real estate investment company Timbercreek Asset Management has ap- pointed Sam Sahn as the company's leader for its newly opened office in New York City. Prior to teaming up with Timbercreek, Sahn performed as an executive director and global portfolio manager for Forum Securities, and additionally, he worked for Citi Property Group, which is a current subsidiary of Apollo Global Management. In his role for Timbercreek, Sahn will report to his longtime co-worker, Corrado Russo, who also worked for both Forum and Citi. EVELYN H. SEELER. Announcing two recent hires, Evelyn H. Seeler was named alongside William M. O'Connor as a new partner in Thompson & Knight LLP's real estate capital markets division. Like O'Connor, Seeler was formerly with Crowell & Moring. The company noted of its decision to take on two additional partners, "We know them well and have several clients in common and now have an opportu- nity to broaden our representation of those institutions as well as other clients in this complex and challenging area of practice." COLLEEN SOUSA. Provident New York Bancorp subsidiary Provident Bank has appointed a new consumer markets executive. The financial institution recently announced that Colleen Sousa as been added as Provident's consumer market leader for its northern and central regions. Sousa boasts more than two decades in the industry, and in her new role for Provident, she will be responsible for overall management and profitability of Provident's financial centers in both geographical areas. GREG STEPHENS. Metro-West Appraisal Co. LLC has announced the addition of Greg Stephens as the com- pany's SVP of appraisal operations and compli- ance. Prior to accepting his new role for Metro-West, Stephens was the VP of residential appraisal administration for Bank of America, where he operated as a state, federal, government-sponsored enterprise, and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice for the financial institution.
