KROMM Kluever & Platt, LLC, has recently announced the appointment of Matthew C. Kromm as a partner with the firm. Kromm has been a member of Kluever & Platt, LLC, since April 2008 and practices in the areas of commercial litigation and contested residential mortgage foreclosure actions. Kromm has handled matters in a variety of jurisdictions and litigates cases throughout the entire state of Illinois. Also, Kluever & Platt has named Diana Carpintero as managing attorney for foreclosure and bankruptcy. MIKE MCELROY First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation appointed Mike McElroy as its new General Counsel. McElroy has more than 15 years' financial services and capital markets experience, including roles at national lenders and servicers, the GSEs, and private firms. McElroy's past positions include General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary at Stonegate Mortgage Corporation; SVP and General Counsel at Home Loan Servicing Solutions, Ltd.; SVP and Deputy General Counsel at Ocwen Financial Corporation; Associate General Counsel at Fannie Mae; and Associate and Partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP. MATT RIDER Franklin American Mortgage Company announced Matt Rider will join the company as CIO. In his new role, Rider will oversee information technology operations, management, and service delivery at Franklin American. He comes to Franklin American from JP Morgan Chase & Co., where he served as IT Executive Director over the Commercial Appraisal and Real Estate Technology Divisions. His career in the mortgage-banking industry spans 20 years. He also served as interim CIO at JEGS Automotive, Inc. Rider graduated cum laude from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a bachelor's in business administration. SCOTT SLIFER Sutherland Mortgage Services named Scott Slifer SVP and Global Head of Mortgage Industry Vertical. Slifer is a 26-year veteran of the mortgage industry. Before joining Sutherland this year, he was responsible for growth and profitability at PHH Mortgage's Private Label Solutions. He managed client relationships and sales support. Previously Slifer held positions at Citi, Freddie Mac, ABN, AMRO, and GE. JASON NADEAU Jason Nadeau will lead mortgage strategy, revenue growth, and business development strategy at Fatcom. With more than 20 years' experience in mortgage technology, Nadeau most recently served as Senior Director at Corsair Associates, where he offered strategic consulting to mortgage technology companies. He has also served as Group President at Stewart Title and CEO of Stewart Lender Services, leading the company's business lines and technology services. Nadeau is also Founder, President, and CTO of RealEC Technologies. In this role, he helped develop the largest electronic partner network for the mortgage industry. DENISE RAMEY The Virginia Association of Realtors has appointed Denise Ramey to its Board of Directors. Ramey will serve a three-year term. A sales associate with Long & Foster's Charlottesville Old Ivy Sales office since 2014, Ramey has been a Realtor since 2006 and has earned several prestigious designations, including the Long & Foster Gold Team Achievement Award for 2014 and induction into the Long & Foster Gold Team Master's Club in 2015. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors and served as its president in 2013. Ramey holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida.
