4 | TH E M R EP O RT MTECH Sutherland Acquires Big Data Analytics Firm Nuevora NUEVORA WILL OPERATE AS A WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY UNDER ITS CURRENT LEADERSHIP. S utherland Global Services, a global BPO and technol- ogy-enabled services company, announced the acquisition of Nuevora, a top 10 big data analytics firm, in order to further help clients gain stronger insights from big data and then use that information to retain and grow customers. With the acquisition of Nuevora, Sutherland advances its big data capabilities and strengthens its Digital Practice Division in order to address a fundamental challenge— trying to translate massive amounts of data into action that is immedi - ately useful. Nuevora's big data ana- lytics and applications complement Sutherland's analytics network to quickly and uniquely convert data into predictive and prescriptive insights. The acquisition allows Sutherland to offer its customers an end-to-end set of analytics capabilities that can achieve faster results, greater business outcomes, improved efficiencies, productivity, and smarter BPO services, according to Sutherland. Sutherland's clients will be able to receive a more comprehensive portfolio of services to help them on their digital transformation journey. That portfolio now includes predictive and prescrip - tive data analytics to go with strategic consulting and innovative design thinking. "Our clients are increasingly amassing vast quantities of customer data in their day-to-day business," said Dilip Vellodi, Sutherland chairman and CEO. "Nuevora brings an immense competitive differentiator to Sutherland, giving our customers the ability to monetize their data assets, provision their analytic platforms, and deliver new predictive and prescriptive insights." Nuevora will continue to operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sutherland and will be led by Nuevora's founder and CEO, Phani Nagarjuna. He will also assume the role of chief analytics officer responsible for Sutherland's global analytics business operations. "The combination of Nuevora and Sutherland offer the market - place an end-to-end Business Process as a Service set of capabili- ties that can drive operational excellence based on powerful predictive analytics and machine learning," Nagarjuna said. NTC Launches New Version of Popular Report THE NEW AVXPRESS IS A STREAMLINED VERSION OF NATIONWIDE TITLE CLEARING'S ASSIGNMENT VERIFICATION REPORT. N ationwide Title Clearing (NTC), a post-closing services provider for the nation's largest financial institu - tions, investors, and servicers, launched a new shortened version of the company's popular Assignment Verification Report (AVR), called the AVXpress (AVX), according to the company. The new stream - lined report contains everything an AVR contains without the keyed report, without compro- mising the quality of the research clients are accustomed to receiving from NTC. "Our research services are the gold standard in the US real estate business, but not every client needs the complete Assignment Verification Report," said NTC CEO John Hillman. "This new report is a direct result of our drive to provide exactly the kinds of products and services our client partners need. We expect the AVXpress to be the perfect solution for many of those we serve today." AVX involves a thorough search of actual, current land records. The resulting research is then bundled up into an image package contain - ing the subject mortgage and all applicable recorded documents in an assignment chain or that impact the standing of the target mortgage. This image pack can be used to support best signing practices by providing relevant supporting documentation or to assist in the perfecting of collateral files by Streamlining Systems The mortgage industry focuses on technologies that streamline processes while addressing compliance.
