8 | TH E M R EP O RT MCROWD TED TOZER Ginnie Mae announced that Ted Tozer will be leaving the company after serving as president for seven years. At Ginnie Mae, which oversees securitizations of Federal Housing Administration and Department of Veterans Affairs loans, Tozer played an integral role in ensuring that the mortgage market not only functioned, but kept up with changes following the financial crisis. Prior to joining Ginnie Mae, Tozer was with Taylor, Bean & Whitaker. He was also the SVP of Capital Markets for National City Mortgage. MITCH ORINGER Selene Finance announced the addition of Mitch Oringer to the position of SVP of REO and Valuations. Oringer has considerable experience in overseeing the acquisition and servicing of nonperforming loans with a focus on REO disposition, portfolio management, and loss mitigation. Oringer was most recently employed by Auction.com, where he was the VP of residential operations and was tasked with increasing the bidding activity on the site to facilitate the sale of REO properties. He has also held various management positions at Shelving Rock Partners, The National Group, and GMAC Rescap. NANETTE EPPERSON First Guaranty Mortgage Corp. has announced that NanEtte Epperson has joined the company as a national wholesale sales director. Epperson has more than 25 years of sales leadership experience in the mortgage lending industry, with a primary emphasis in TPO lending. Previously, she was the VP and division manager, wholesale and non-delegat- ed, at Homeward Residential. Epperson was also the SVP and division manager with Nationstar Mortgage and also previously served as divisional EVP of the wholesale prime division at Countrywide Mortgage. She has also worked with Aegis, Principal Financial Group, Mellon Mortgage, and CrossLand Mortgage. BRENDAN CLARK Clark Capital Management Group, an independent asset manager, announced the promotion of Brendan Clark to CEO of the company. Clark joined Clark Capital in 2001 and held multiple positions, including EVP of Business Development and President. As President, he directed all business development and marketing efforts and oversaw the creation and execution of key strategic relationships with broker-dealer partners and national platforms. PETER G. POIDOMANI Peter G. Poidomani has been hired as an EVP of portfolio management at Renovo Financial, where he will oversee the firm's portfolio and strengthen the organization's foundation as it continues its expansive growth. He will also be responsible for optimizing the portfolio management process, risk management, and ensuring that internal operations are executed with efficiency. Prior to joining Renovo, Poidomani was an executive at Fannie Mae, where he created a production platform that managed a property portfolio in excess of $2 billion. In addition to his work with the GSE, Poidomani has worked at Fieldstone Mortgage, Aurora National Bank, and Cityscape Mortgage in New York. PATRICE POWER CalyxSoftware, a provider of software solutions for players in the mortgage industry, appointed Patrice Power as the Director of Marketing. A 30-year veteran of the marketing and management fields, Power will be brought in to oversee the development and running of the firm's marketing strategy for its various offerings, including: Point, PointCentral, and PathSoftware, which are all loan origination systems, INK-it, an electronic signature system, and Webcaster, a DIY website solution. Prior to joining CalyxSoftware, Power was employed by LenderLive, a mortgage services provider for financial companies, as the SVP of Marketing. Before that, she headed the B2B marketing, advertising, and PR divisions for Sabre Holdings, where she was Director of Marketing. RENE RODRIGUEZ Las Vegas, Nevada- based Alterra Home Loans announced the hiring of Rene Rodriguez to the role of Chief Learning Officer. With over 20 years of experience with mortgage technology, Rodriguez served as CEO of BetterLoanOfficer.com. Prior to that, he was CEO of the first cloud-based loan origination software company for the mortgage industry. Rodriguez has been a trusted advisor to leadership teams at Coca-Cola, Liz Claiborne, Daimler Chrysler, FORD, Microsoft, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and countless other mortgage banks across the country. He was named on the list of 25 Most Connected Mortgage Professionals, the 40 under 40 Most Influential Mortgage Professionals list six years in a row, and most recently, Mortgage Professional America's HOT 100. BILL WELCH LenderLive Holdings Inc. has announced that Bill Welch has joined the company as the VP of National Sales for the company's Settlement Services division, where he will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships. Before joining LenderLive, he was the CEO of JWJ Consulting, where he was responsible for providing technology solutions and consulting services to banking and government sector clients. Throughout his career, Welch has held senior major account management and sales positions at several large data and technology companies, including SolutionStar, ISGN, and CoreLogic.
