TH E M R EP O RT | 5 MTECH CoreLogic Improves Accuracy of Loan Estimates with New Program CORELOGIC INTRODUCES PROPERTY TAX ESTIMATOR TO ELLIE MAE ENCOMPASS TO PROVIDE ACCURATE LOAN ESTIMATES AT THE START OF THE MORTGAGE PROCESS. C oreLogic, the global prop- erty information, analytics, and date-enabled solutions provider, announced the addition of its Property Tax Estimator to Ellie Mae Encompass, an all-in- one mortgage management solu - tion. The Property Tax Estimator provides accurate Loan Estimates at the start of the process to the benefit of underwriters and servicers. CoreLogic says the addition will make it easier for underwriters to see if the borrowers can financially support the mortgage amount, while improving the onboarding process for servicers. Kirk Randlett, VP, Operations, Tax Services Management, for CoreLogic said upon the an - nouncement, "The tax estimating process is critical to several stages of the mortgage cycle: disclo- sures, underwriting, and servic- ing. Accurate tax estimates help deliver the right blend of qual- ity, performance, and efficiency required for optimizing the bor- rower experience while minimiz- ing compliance risk." CoreLogic explained that this addition will improve the custom- er experience by making it easier for lenders to be productive and eliminate the need to outsource for tasks such as data procurement re- gardless of the property, exemption status, county exception complex- ity, and loan officer tenure. P remium Title, a national provider of title and escrow services and an Altisource business unit, announced its integra- tion with LendingQB's end-to-end, browser-based loan origination system (LOS) on February 21. The integration will provide customers with the ability to obtain title and settlement quotes more efficiently, place orders with Premium Title, and receive a title fee certificate guaranteeing fees for 30 days through the LendingQB platform. "We are pleased to offer Premium Title's services through our loan origination system," said Tim Nguyen, President of LendingQB. "This integration is a prime example of our best-of- breed strategy that will provide lenders with the ease of research- ing fees, ordering title services, and receiving documents directly from Premium Title." According to Premium Title, the integration allows clients to experience a seamless, more-efficient process within the LendingQB LOS platform. Lenders using LendingQB will receive automated quotes for title services and a title fee certificate guaranteeing title fees, which auto- populates into the LOS. LendingQB also has the ability to maintain the loan estimate and any adjustments in fees associated with the loan, as- sisting with TRID compliance and faster disclosure timelines.
