Now AVP of Pre- and Post- Foreclosure Operations for ZVN Properties, Inc., Erika Cheyney started out as a processor hired on from a temp agency when ZVN first opened its doors in 2004. Over the years, Cheyney was able to rise through the ranks and earn the respect of her colleagues through her hard work, determination, and ability to offer solutions that streamlined operations. Never afraid to share her voice in a male-dominated industry, Cheyney serves as an example to other women and professionals at ZVN and throughout the industry. Jody Collup VP OF MARKETING, GLOBAL DMS Jody Collup is a dynamic, senior-level marketing pro- fessional with over 20 years of experience working in all facets of marketing communications. She spe - cializes in numerous areas of the profession, includ- ing strategy planning and execution, brand manage- ment, PR, media relations, advertising, customer communications, website management, trade shows, marketing collateral, project management, and social media. Collup is well- known in the mortgage industry. She is regularly involved in technology panel sessions, roundtables, and is an active thought leader in the mortgage media. She has built her career on hard work, dedication, drive, relation - ships and so much more. Collup stands up for what she believes in and doesn't back down, is very hard working, and is not afraid to roll her sleeves up. Tonia Conner AVP ACQUISITIONS, NATIONSTAR MORTGAGE LLC Tonia Conner currently oversees the acquisitions process for Nationstar. She previously worked at Beal Bank performing similar duties, and has also held positions with MGC Mortgage, Saxon Mortgage, and Homeward Residential. She is one of the only female leaders in her role and has been instrumental in Nationstar's growth. She has been an integral part of making Nationstar one of the nation's largest nonbank servicers. "She's a force to be reckoned with," said Ramie Word, SVP Performing Acquisitions & Borrower Communication at Nationstar Mortgage. "She maintains a positive attitude and 'get-it-done' mindset, even with the large amount of strategic growth performed by Nationstar over the past several years." Kathy Cummings SVP, AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP, BANK OF AMERICA Kathy Cummings has been with Bank of America since 2003 and has served as SVP, Affordable Housing and Strategic Relationship since 2008. In this role, Cummings works with her team to create successful homeowners through delivering quality homebuyer education with the bank's network of more than 500 non- profits. "Education has been a big push for us," Cummings said. "And when I say education, it's also dispelling the myths that exist with homeownership. You don't have to have 20 percent down, you don't have to have an 850 FICO score, and you can have student loans." Cummings' career, which spans more than 25 years, includes positions with JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, and Prudential Home Mortgage.
