8 | TH E M R EP O RT MCROWD CHRIS HENSON BB&T Corporation announced that Chris Henson has been named President of BB&T Corporation and President of Branch Banking and Trust Company. He will also serve as COO of BB&T Corporation. Henson will oversee many of BB&T's core businesses, including Data and Technology Services; Deposit, Payment and Operations Services; Enterprise Digital Strategy; Enterprise Marketing, Sales and Experience Group; Financial Services; Human Systems; Legal; Insurance Services; Mortgage and BB&T's Specialized Lending subsidiaries. He will also be responsible for overseeing BB&T's Community Banking Division. GERARDO CACERES Gerardo Caceres joins ClosingCorp as the SVP of Data Operations & Product Management, where he will determine the overall strategic direction and tactical execution for all products and will be responsible for further enhancing the company's data and information management strategy. Prior to joining ClosingCorp, Caceres was the SVP of Service Delivery and Account Management at RealEC Technologies/Black Knight Financial Services. Before joining Black Knight, he was the SVP of Title Strategy and National Title Platform (NTP) at Bank of America (BofA), where he was responsible for providing title and closing services to BofA home loan originations through the NTP. DAVID SOBER LRES appointed David Sober as VP of National Sales, where he will be responsible for managing and generating LRES' sales and business development operations and developing solutions designed to support clients across multiple segments in the real estate industry. Before joining LRES, Sober served as Business Development Manager at SingleSource and also served as Senior Business Analyst and Pricing Manager at Chronos Solutions. Sober received both his MBA and his Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Maryland. BRIAN DAILY First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation (FGMC) named Brian Daily to the position of Managing Director for the company's Distributed Retail lending division, where he will be responsible for growing the company's Distributed Retail lending platform. Daily brings more than 30 years' mortgage industry experience to FGMC with previous positions that include Chief Strategy Officer of the Strategic Alliance Group at First Allegiance for more than five years, SVP of Sales with Centex Home Equity/Nationstar Mortgage, SVP Divisional Manager with Fremont Investment and Loan, and SVP of Sales/Operations with Bank of America. MICHAEL GOLDMAN AmCap Mortgage has appointed Michael Goldman as its newest COO, and he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of AmCap Mortgage as it grows loan volume and expands to additional areas of the country. With a career that spans 20 years, he started as a loan officer in San Antonio and rose through the ranks to branch management and regional management roles in his home state of Texas. Goldman earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio. WILLIAM T. MORRISON William T. Morrison joins TowneBank Mortgage and Realty Group as the Chairman and CEO. He has succeeded Jacqueline Amato, who has retired as Chairman and CEO of TowneBank Mortgage last year. Morrison, the former CEO of Monarch Mortgage, played an integral role in the merger of TowneBank Mortgage and the Monarch Mortgage division. He was previously an EVP and COO of the company. JEFF SNYDER Jeff Snyder joins Matic Insurance Services, Inc. as the Head of Insurance, where he will be responsible for expanding the company's national footprint, recruiting new agents to its Columbus, Ohio, operations center and overseeing the development of Matic's internal agency management platform, including its direct integrations with insurance carriers. Snyder comes to Matic with 10 years' experience in the financial services and technology industries. Most recently, he co-founded and oversaw sales and operations for a digital insurance agency that sold a broad range of products from carriers nationwide. Snyder currently serves as a board member at Schey Sales Centre at Ohio University. WALT KIESCHNICK/ BRENDA HENRY/ ROBERT TOMPKINS Walt Kieschnick was promoted to the SVP of portfolio management at Selene Finance. Kieschnick has been with Selene since 2011 and has played an integral role in implementing key operational changes and leading process improvement initiatives. Selene Finance also appointed Brenda Henry and Robert Tompkins to its client relations team. Henry was previously a director at Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing, where she was responsible for portfolio management and special servicing of clients. Before joining Selene, Tompkins was the SVP of default at RMS, Inc. and has previously held leadership positions at OneWest Bank and Litton Loan Servicing, LP.
