The superstar swimmer is believed to have purchased the home for around $1.7 million in 2007, and the high-end property was first listed in March of this year. The 1.66-acre estate includes the lighthouse, a 4,563-square-foot main home, and a detached guest house and garage. The historic structure was built in Wickford Harbor on Narragansett Bay in 1831, and the future owners of Poplar Point will be paying significantly more for the lighthouse than its 1894 buyers, who purchased the out-of-service property for just $3,944.67 at auction.
