DANIELLE HALE Chief Economist, realtor.com® Danielle Hale is respon- sible for developing and translating real estate trend data into consumer and industry insights. She also leads realtor.com's® team of the industry's top analysts and economists with the goal of provid- ing deeper and broader housing insights to people throughout the home journey, industry profes- sionals, and thought lead- ers. Before joining realtor. com® in July 2017, Hale spent nearly a decade as an economist and policy researcher at the National Association of Realtors (NAR). As manag- ing director of housing research, Hale oversaw the production of closely followed housing market data, including NAR's monthly pending and existing home sales indices and quarterly home price reports. KEN MARKISON Of Counsel, Weiner Brodsky Kider PC Before joining Weiner Brodsky Kider PC (WBK), Ken Markison's career in industry and government included service as VP and Regulatory Counsel of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Assistant General Counsel for GSEs and RESPA at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and HUD liaison to the Oversight Board for the Resolution Trust Corporation. At WBK, Markison advises lender and vendor companies, trade associations and oth- er organizations that draw on his deep experience and expertise regarding the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Housing Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, and virtually every other law regulating the primary and secondary mortgage market. ALEX MCGILLIS Director of Product Development, Capital Markets, Quicken Loans In his role, Alex McGillis leads the following teams: Change Management, Information Strategy, Knowledge Management, Content Strategy, and Content Design. Previously at Quicken Loans, McGillis was responsible for product de- velopment and policy for servicing the company's government and private portfolio loans. In his time at Quicken Loans, he has also served as a Product Manager for VA and FHA. In addition, he is was the co-chair of the Future of Loss Mitigation Task Force, Chair of the Loan Administration Committee for the Mortgage Bankers Association, and part of the Urban Institute's Mortgage Servicing Collaborative. He proudly resides in Detroit, Michigan and is a gradu- ate of The Evergreen State College. ERIK SCHMITT Managing Director, Origination Division, Chase Home Lending In his role, Erik Schmitt leads product management for Chase's origination and servicing businesses to en- sure its products meet the needs of customers, while positioning the mortgage business for long-term suc- cess. Previously, Schmitt led a team responsible for the Firm's foreclosure pre- vention and loss mitigation products. In this capacity, he worked closely with investors and regulators to influence the future of foreclosure prevention and customer assistance. He was also responsible for designing and executing the Firm's servicing strat- egy on loan sales and sub- servicing. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Schmitt worked as a Senior Trader and Portfolio Manager at Washington Mutual and as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. ROCKY STUBBS SVP, Head of Direct Lending, Flagstar Bank With over 15 years in the mortgage industry at both privately held and Fortune 100 companies, Rocky Stubbs enjoys a strong industry reputation as a strategic thinker and bold innovator who is highly skilled at leading rapid growth agendas, attracting and retaining top talent, and creating a white-glove, customer centric sales and service cultures. Stubbs joined Flagstar Bank as Head of Direct Lending in January of 2018. Previously, he led the Direct and Digital Mortgage channel for Capital One as well as Business Development for Mortgage Banking at JPMorgan Chase. During the financial crisis, Stubbs led the JPMorgan Chase's foreclosure prevention group, which success- fully helped over 100,000 struggling customers avoid foreclosure and remain in their homes.
