ARIZONA // In Scottsdale, Arizona, V.I.P. Mortgage, Inc., announced its recent selection into Genworth U.S. Mortgage Insurance's (USMI) exclusive Leadership Circle. V.I.P. was the only Arizona corporate-based account to receive the award, which recognizes lending excellence as measured by a company's performance, processes, and values. "It's an honor and a privilege to align ourselves with Genworth," said Jay Barbour, founder and president of V.I.P. "The Leadership Circle signifies hard work and dedication, all of which our employees strive to be each and every day. This award affirms we're on the right track." The Leadership Circle offers exclusive services and value-added benefits, including a dedicated underwriting team, exclusive training opportunities, consulting services, and market intelligence calls. Membership selection includes historical loan performance, adherence to quality process, and other duediligence criteria. Churchill Mortgage Expands Two branches open in Michigan, now spreading the company's reach across 26 states. MICHIGAN // Churchill Mortgage, a Tennessee-based lender providing conventional and government-backed mortgages across 26 states, is expanding into Michigan with the opening of two branches. The first branch will serve the Greater Lansing Area out of the community of Okemos, while the second will serve the Grand Rapids area. Churchill's two newest branch managers, Evan Vanderwey and Steve Vanderwey, will lead the two branches. Both served as advisors to Cornerstone Wealth Partners, LLC, and both were co-owners of Cornerstone Home Loans for more than 14 years. In addition, both are licensed originators, registered investment advisors, members of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association, and certified workplace trainers through Churchill supporter and finance radio host Dave Ramsey. To support efforts in Michigan, Churchill also brought on processors Kandice Noyola, Karen Roberts, and Kimberly Jenison, who bring more than two decades of combined industry experience to the Greater Lansing area. The lender also added Christopher DeRuisher as its newest assistant home loan specialist, Joshua VanDyke as a loan officer, and Maureen Partlo as a processor to support its Grand Rapids branch.
