So says the listing for this $85-million property, lo- cated at the top of Hillcrest Road in Beverly Hills. With eight bedrooms, a staggering 15 bathrooms, and numerous amenities, this more-than-22,000- square-foot estate has star power to match all of Hollywood's brightest. Chicago, Illinois Top neighborhood: Ravenswood Home Value Index: $277,000 Hot home: Home theater: check. Indoor pool: check. Stunning gardens: check. Though there's a lot of competition from the surrounding mansions, this $18.75 million listing is billed as the "most beau- tiful property in the city or suburbs," and it makes a solid case for the title. Escape from the chaos of the Windy City in this Burling Street estate. Washington, D.C. Top neighborhood: American University Park Home Value Index: $897,500 Hot home: While it might not be the most exclusive house in the na- tion's capital—that honor would go to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue—the $11-million Georgetown Federal Home has just as pres- tigious a history as any other. Built in 1797 by a nephew of George Mason, this home has seen a number of influential Georgetown residents, including Rhode Island Senator Claiborne Pell. Portland, Oregon Top neighborhood: Laurelhurst Home Value Index: $579,300 Hot home: Built in 1908 and restored in the early 2000s, this 8,750-square-foot Colonial is about as "frontier" as it gets. Listed as an example of "exceptional craftsmanship and quality," this property boasts five spacious bedroom suites, seven full baths, and three powder rooms—as well as a spectacular sunset view. Seattle, Washington Top neighborhood: Loyal Heights Home Value Index: $525,700 Hot home: Situated close to the waterfront of Lake Washington, this gated estate is listed at $7.65 million. In addition to its five bedrooms and three bathrooms, this beautiful- ly maintained 1933 Tudor features a terrace, pool, cabana, and sport court, as well as a waterfront guest house.
