She is passionate about combining culture, innova- tion, leadership, and inclusiveness to create workplaces that engage team members. In her role, she is responsible for leading and driving the human resources strategy across U.S. operations supporting over 1,600 employees nationwide. She also leads the diversity and inclusion strategy for Ocwen globally. "With changes in technology and globalization, organi- zations are realizing that maximizing the potential of a diverse workforce is not only a social imperative, but also a competitive advantage. Diversity is about acknowledging and leverag- ing similarities and differences while also unleashing the power of people. Creating an environment where all people feel valued and supported allows the focus to be on the work, which leads to more engagement, in- novation, execution, and positive busi- ness results," Oyewole told MReport. Trina Scott VP, DIVERSITY & INCLUSION, QUICKEN LOANS FAMILY OF COMPANIES Native Detroiter Trina Govan Scott is passionate about people and driven to create a work environment where team members are comfortable being themselves. As VP of Quicken Loans Family of Companies Diversity and Inclusion, Scott develops the strategy and infrastructure that foster a culture of inclusivity and diverse perspectives. She is passionate about people and creating a work environment grounded in collaboration and freedom for self- expression. She also seeks to build positive connections between the Quicken Loans Family of Companies and local communities, by helping to attract and engage top diverse talent. Scott joined the Quicken Loans Family of Companies in early 2017 after 10 years with a public accounting firm where she focused on corporate social responsibility and rolled out diversity and inclusion initiatives at the company's three office locations. Scott is innately passionate about the community and committed to providing underserved young people with the resources necessary to flourish. Karyn Twaronite PARTNER, EY GLOBAL DIVERSITY & INCLUSIVENESS OFFICER Karyn Twaronite is responsible for maximizing the diversity of EY professionals across the globe. She is a member of the U.S. Executive Committee and sits on the Global Practice Group, the Americas Operating Executive Sub-Committee, and the Global and America's Got Talent Executives. She also chairs the Inclusiveness Advisory Council. Twaronite joined EY over 20 years ago as a tax professional before moving into the Talent team, where she has led human resources for both the U.S. and Canada. Twaronite received her bachelor's in accounting from Miami University and her master's in taxation from Fordham University. She also earned a certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management from Harvard Business School. Twaronite told EY's Connect magazine, "Women are generally over-mentored and under- sponsored compared to their male peers, and men who get promotions are more than likely to have sponsors advocating for them." She is looking to change this by co-sponsoring EY's "Women. Fast Forward" campaign.
